Cancellation Policies

Our Current Cancellation Policies

General Refund Policy

There are clearly stated Refund and Cancellation Policies that are built into each of the different event types. Some events will have special refund and cancellation policies which will be part of the workshop description on the workshop web page. These special policies may supersede the regular policy or be an addition. Contact the workshop organizer with any questions.

The content for any workshop may change from that advertised based on weather, access to shooting locations and other unforeseen situations. Whenever possible, registered students will be notified ahead of time of any changes. vonHaupt Photography reserves the right to cancel any program that does not meet minimum participant requirements, in which case participants will be informed as soon as possible and all money paid to vonHaupt Photography will be refunded. vonHaupt Photography is not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of a course cancellation. We encourage participants to purchase refundable airline tickets and consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance where applicable.

In order to receive a refund, you must email the leader of the workshop and ask for the refund. This is the only way to receive an approved refund. No refunds will be issued after workshop starts.

Approved refunds are made in the manner of original payment. Credit card payments are processed though PayPal. Payments made by check will be mailed to address on file. Please allow 14 days for processing of all refunds.

You are always welcome to allow someone to use your spot. Please communicate this to the workshop leader with the name, email and phone number for the person taking your spot.

Virtual Workshops/Classes Refund Policy

For any student virtual workshops/class cancellations, vonHaupt Photography's cancellation policy is as follows:

  1. For cancellations received at least 7 days prior to the class start date: vonHaupt Photography refunds any tuition paid.
  2. For cancellations received 1 to 7 days prior to the start of the class: vonHaupt Photography refunds any tuition paid, less a $25 processing fee.
  3. For cancellations after the class is in progress: vonHaupt Photography retains full tuition.
  4. For no-shows: vonHaupt Photography retains full tuition.
  5. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after our office receives notice of cancellation.

On Location Workshops Refund Policy

For any student workshop cancellations, vonHaupt Photography's cancellation policy is as follows:

  1. For cancellations received at least 60 days prior to the workshop start date: vonHaupt Photography refunds any deposit/tuition paid, less a $25 processing fee.
  2. For cancellations received 30 to 60 days prior to the start of the workshop: vonHaupt Photography refunds any tuition paid less the tuition deposit (if applicable).
  3. For cancellations received within 30 days prior to the start of the workshop: vonHaupt Photography retains full tuition.
  4. For cancellations after the workshop is in progress: vonHaupt Photography retains full tuition.
  5. For no-shows: vonHaupt Photography retains full tuition.
  6. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after our office receives notice of cancellation.

Cancellation Policy

LOW ENROLLMENT: If a workshop has insufficient enrollment to run, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop AT ANY TIME prior to the start of the event. If this happens, you will be notified by email and reimbursed in full. Usually if a minimum number is required for an event, that is communicated in the event listing.

WEATHER: In the case of inclement weather, we will notify all members who have registered for said event at our earliest possible time to reschedule. If it is a paid event, the event fee will be refunded in full.

One of the important reasons for our group is to get together with fellow photographers to shoot pictures and increase your photographic knowledge and abilities. Any inappropriate interactions will not be tolerated. We want everyone to have fun and feel welcome. If this is not the case, please forward any concerns to info@creativevisionpw.com
